A large crowd of Audio Society Members and Guests greatly enjoyed an afternoon  of Live Music. We were pleased to offer a Operatic Style Recital/Concert performance by Masters students from the Ga. Field Trip to SMART Systems and Audition of the new 'ELP' "Amazing" Laser Turntable

A large contingent of Audio Society members and guests enjoyed a field trip to SMART Systems and audition of the new 'ELP' "Amazing" Laser Turntable from Japan, Loricraft LP cleaner from England, Cinema A/V electronics, Power Purifiers and other goodies.  Other than the Laser TT and LP Cleaner, all other items are designed and mfr. by SMART in their Norcross Ga. factory. Members and guests were also allowed to deep clean up to 5 LP's on the Loricraft machine for a $1.00 fee as a fund raiser for the club.  LP's need to be extremely clean due to the ELP's high resolution and sensitivity, yet you'll hear truly remarkable sound from previously near unplayable records.  SMART also has a terrific museum of vintage and restored Radio electronics, Wire and R-to-R Tape Recorders.  This is likely the best field trip the club has enjoyed in memory. Special thanks to SMART President & Founder Norm Schneider and staff.
